I'm still wondering if anyone else has had this issue or did I just make a stupid fuckup that I'm somehow missing? In the end I dug out a template that came with a pair of Dukes and all was good. With normal screws I think the screw would end op going in cockeyed at best, and they would probably still bind. The other 5 holes for the front seemed to line up perfectly perfect as well.Ī few mm probably isn't the end of the world, but with inserts I think it would prevent the screws from sitting flush with the plate and the binding would probably bind when switching from ski to tour mode. ![]() ![]() I don't think it was an issue with print scaling since the width of the holes for the plate was spot on. ![]() I.e the holes for the rear of the plate on the template were too close to the holes at the front if that makes sense. I was marking out my topsheets for a pair of Barons last night using the paper template and for some reason the spacing between the holes for the plate at the rear of the binding was off by a few mm lengthwise.
